Personal consultancy as «external expert» for the Italian Regulatory Commission for Electricity and Gas concerning a broad set of topics of regulation of the electric power sector. The main topics that will be addressed include the design of market mechanisms for the allocation of the interconnection capacity between Italy and the neighboring countries, the design of procedures to incentivise an efficient performance of the Italian System Operator, long term adequacy of generation supply, congestion management in the Italian transmission network and the implementation of the Internal Electricity Market of the European Union, particularly the issue of cross-border tarification.
